Lily Allen has admitted her regret at turning down "hundreds of thousands of bitcoin" in payment for an online concert that would now be worth at least 20 times the £6m fortune she has earned from album and single sales and royalties.
The singer confirmed on Twitter that she had been asked to live stream a concert to the virtual world Second Life “about five years” ago. Unlike a traditional concert, this would not even have required her to leave home, but simply perform in front of her computer to users watching from within the game.
